Val Ruff honored her grandmother on her 90th birthday with a contribution to the Community Foundation of Marshall County’s Directors Fund. As past Chair of the board Val knows the importance of endowments and the good they will do forever. She encourages anyone who wants to honor a loved one during their lifetime to think about a gift to one of the endowments with CFMC. Maybe that person loved Marshalltown Community Theatre, spends time at the Albion Library, was one of the founding committee members for the Le Grand Community Center, or has any number of other passions, and they would be honored to have a gift made in their name. Starting a new fund for a favorite nonprofit organization is an option as well.
