Rebuild Marshalltown Fund
This fund was established to provide funding for long term recovery and rebuilding efforts following the July 2018 tornado. Over 250 donors contributed over $800,000 for these rebuilding efforts. The Committee awarded the first grants in April 2019 and the last grant was awarded in August of 2025. This long journey of recovery & rebuilding is a testament that we are #bettertoghter!
All future disaster relief and recovery grants will be made via the Marshall County Disaster Recovery Fund which was activated for pandemic and derecho relief. Donors may give to this fund using this link: http://www.desmoinesfoundation.org/marshallcountydisasterfund
